Waste Paper Pulping Deinking Process Introduction

Feb 10, 2019

Principle of waste paper pulp deinking

The waste paper pulping and deinking workshop ink adheres the toner particles in the ink to the paper fibers by printing, and the principle of deinking is exactly the opposite of the printing principle, which is to destroy the adhesion of these particles to the fibers. The waste paper deinking process is a combination of chemical reaction and physical reaction. Generally, the deinking chemicals are used to destroy the adhesion of the printing ink to the fibers, and the ink is separated from the fibers under appropriate temperature and mechanical external force. Down and separate the process from the pulp.

Waste paper pulping deinking step process

The whole process of waste paper pulp deinking can be roughly divided into the following three steps:

(1) dissolving the separated fibers;

(2) detaching the ink from the fiber;

(3) The removed ink particles are removed from the slurry.

Principle of deinking of waste paper pulp

Surfactant deinking: Surfactant deinking is a waste paper deinking method commonly used in the world. The method is to add a deinking agent to the hydraulic pulper to make the printing ink work together by physical and chemical methods. Separated from the surface of the fiber, and depending on the size and state of the ink particles, different post-treatment methods are used to remove it from the slurry. According to the process conditions, it is mainly divided into alkaline deinking and neutral deinking. According to the process, it can also be divided into washing deinking and flotation deinking. Deinking requires a good emulsifying ability of the surfactant, such as octylphenol ethoxylate OP-10, and the emulsion is emulsified and water-washed. Flotation deinking requires that the dispersibility of the surfactant must be good, such as ethoxylated fatty acid methyl ester FMEE, because excessive emulsification will dissolve the ink particles in the working fluid, which will hinder the ink from overflowing with the foam. Reduce the deinking rate.

Waste paper pulp deinking recycled paper Today, secondary fibers can be used in products previously produced only from virgin fibers such as high-grade paper and coated paper. The increased use of waste paper also means that it is one of the most active parts of the paper chain in terms of equipment and process innovation. In the case of the increasing trend of secondary fiber recycling, it should be a work of great practical significance.
